Wandering in the historical land of Lahore
Toiling to find fortune, joy, and love
In the land of gods’ Sita and Ram
An innocent soul is battling unarmed
Keeping Eyes on the grand king’s Mosque
Having thousands of questions to ask
Standing Beside the cemetery of Pakistan’s dreamer
Shedding tears on the ruining of the Ravi river
In front of Akbar’s fort and Alamgeri gate,
A lover wazir enemy of war and hate
A mindful descendant of the great Suri
Like an outcast, a stranger, and feeling sorry
In the city where ancestors judged and ruled
People look upon us as inferior and fool
